My Art:
My artworks are mostly inspired by ancient Persian poetry.
They are very expressive and carry oriental art.
I consider myself a storyteller too. I am the link to Persian tradition in a completely contemporary way. I want to preserve its lyrical depth and introspective ability.
The treatment of the pictorial background makes the figures stand out from a dimension that is both material and spiritual. A dimension where formal elements find their appropriate place.
When painting, I create a timeless dimension. Here, the figures can float and find shelter from an exterior which seems not belonging to them.
I consider the artistic research an introspective analysis. When I paint figures come to the surface as from a mystic vision.
Beauty reveals itself in symbolic shapes. They find a place on the canvas and remind the viewer about the importance of feelings.
According to the Persian tradition, the writer is sovereign. Painting converts into light and shadow the shades of the most hidden inner self. The mystical and sacral language is able to interpret and pass on the enriching experience of the unknown.
Medium:
I use acrylic, oil and mixed media. Acrylic helps a lot with the texture I use. I mix it with oil sometimes for its brightness.
All my creations are stretched on a wooden frame (4cm wide). No need for framing, the sides are painted, so you will receive it ready to hang.
A certification of authenticity signed by me and the gallery I work with is provided and will be sent with the painting. Paintings are signed and dated on the back.
